Making an ethnographic film

This BA course of 10 EC will be given in the spring semester. Through screenings and lectures it provides a general theoretical context to visual methods, as well as hands-on training. It will give you an introduction into the ways in which (audio) visual media are used in anthropological research and the process of making an ethnographic film. During the course, you will make a short film.

This course is also an admission requirement for the MA track 'Visual Ethnography as a Method' within the MA programme in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology.
