CHERPA-network
Academic activities and their impact on society are not limited to the fields of education and research. Corresponding the different missions of academic institutes, the work may also have an influence in the social, economic, cultural, political or regional segments of society.
The CHERPA-network-participating institutes have bundled their skills in order to reach a multidisciplinairy approach in the academic assessment process. The main aim of this joint venture is to develop an assessment methodology for academic institutions in respect with their different missions, as described in the 'Berlin Principles on the ranking of higher education institutes' (pdf).
