About attachmentIn the era of the genome and the brain the influence of parenting on child development is not self-evident anymore. In this research program we examine the role of parents and other caregivers in children's development of attachment and emotion regulation, and we study the limits of their influence.
The research program is designed to further knowledge and practical experience in multivariate analysis in general. Theoretical research is primarily carried out in the areas of multiway analysis, missing data procedures (in particular multiple imputation), and their intersections. On the practical side the aim of the staff of the project is to assist in applying multivariate techniques in those areas where commonly mainly univariate procedures are used. Particular expertise is present on multivariate categorical data analysis.
