This line of research is focused on modulators of neurocognitive functioning and behavioural adaptability in ADHD. For example, we study the etiology, assessment and impact of sleep disorders. Quality of sleep at night and activity patterns during the day are assessed using EEG and acto-meters. We study the effect of sleep disorders on cognitive abilities and adaptive functioning, and explore the role of melatonin. Another project is focused on childhood clinical and demographic predictors of adult life satisfaction level, substance abuse and other outcome parameters in adults with ADHD.
