Do you want to compete in the Dissertation competition 2010. Are you a student at a university, or have you recently graduated?

Socio-economic subject

Did your final dissertation deal with a socio-economic subject or was it related to one of the other working areas of the Social and Economic Council (SER)? Then you qualify to take part in the SER’s dissertation competition for the best paper in Dutch or English.


Prizes

The winner not only receives a prize of  € 2,000,- but is also offered a unique and dynamic look behind the scenes of the Social and Economic Council: he or she will be invited to join Alexander Rinnooy Kan for a day in the working life of the SER Chairman.

A prize of € 500,- will be awarded to each of the other nominated dissertations. All nominees will be invited to the award ceremony, during which the winner may address the full Council on the subject of his or her dissertation.

All you need to know about the dissertation competition can be found on the SER website. The information is in Dutch, but you do not need to write perfect Dutch in order to take part: you can also participate by submitting your dissertation in English.
