Quality framework for medical teachers
Increasing attention is given to the quality of teachers in higher education is subject of increasing attention. This is exemplified by the development and implementation of guidelines for teacher qualifications at Universities in The Netherlands. A national task force has developed a framework that covers competencies of teachers in medical education. PLATO-researcher Jacqueline Bustraan was part of this task force. The guidelines have recently been published in the journal Medical Teacher.
