The award committee of APSA unanimously chose dr. Daniela Stockmann's paper "The New Chinese Media and Public Opinion: Adaptation of a Propaganda Machine or Instrument for Political Change?" to win the award for the best graduate student paper in Political Communication, presented at the 2006 APSA meeting.
