Visiting professorship for Madeleine Hosli

: Madeleine O. Hosli (Political Science) has been awarded a subsidy by the Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen (KNAW) and the Center for European Studies-European Union Center (CES-EUC) of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. This subsidy enables her to be a 'Netherlands Visiting Professor' (NVP) at the University of Michigan from September through December 2010.

The visiting professorship is fully funded by the KNAW (50 percent) and the Univerisity of Michigan (50 percent). The theme of the NVP is "European Governance and Democracy". While at the University of Michigan, she will be teaching a semester-length course on this topic and give lectures related to the theme of the NVP.
