Peter Van Aelst is an associate professor of political science at the University of Antwerp (Belgium). He also has a research position at the Institute of Political Science, Leiden University, funded by the Dutch research council NWO. Since March 2011, he leads the VIDI-project on Media and Politics in comparative perspective. In the year 2010-2011 he teaches the BA course on Political Psychology.
