About the requirements and procedure for admission for the master's programme MSc in Psychology

Admission

Requirements
BA or BSc in Psychology with basic knowledge on all disciplines of Psychology:

  • advanced knowledge (on the level of a third year course or 400 level) on the topic of the master
  • sufficient knowledge of Methods and Statistics
  • proficiency in English (minimum TOEFL of 250/600)
For students of the Leiden bachelor's programme, information on admission requirements for specific specialisations can be found in entry requirements for a specialisation of the master’s programmes Psychology. A Leiden student needs a psychology bachelordiploma to enter the MSc programme. Procedure

  • Students who have received a bachelor degree at Leiden university can fill in the form that they received after finishing their bachelor.
  • Other Dutch and International students send an application form with attachments to the Admission Office.

Financing

Dutch students receive a year of government financing for the master's programme MSc in Psychology
