Curriculum MSc in Psychology (Research)
The curriculum of the master's programme MSc in Psychology (Research) is characterized by a close interplay between teaching and research. The curriculum consists of four semesters, within students participate in compulsory and track coursework.
This takes the form of pre-structured assignments guiding students through each step of the empirical research cycle in the first year, providing advanced-level training in academic and research skills, while they acquire in-depth knowledge of psychological theory in their area of specialization. In the second year, the training of research skills continues in their research internship, which provides students with the opportunity to participate in ongoing research within the Institue of Psychology.

Elective courses
It is possible to follow electives outside the Institute of Psychology, if the target module is on master level and if permission of the Board of Examiners is obtained. Compulsory coursework (40 EC)
The compulsory coursework consists of advanced training in academic and research skills. The design and placement of these modules is designed in such a way that students can immediately apply their newly acquired skills to their own research project.
