Cyril Boonmann started his study of psychology at Leiden University in September 2000. In September 2007 he graduated in Developmental and Educational Psychology as well as in Social and Organizational Psychology. His master thesis focused on adolescents’ feelings of emotional security in the family environment and their other-oriented feelings and behaviours.    


In September 2008 he was appointed as teacher at the Institute of Psychology at Leiden University. Next to his work at Leiden University, he is researcher at the department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the VU University medical center Amsterdam and works at IPSE de Bruggen as sociotherapist.
