Lizet Ketelaar is a teacher in the unit Developmental and Educational Psychology of the Institute of Psychology at Leiden University. She combines this with a position as senior researcher at the Dutch Foundation for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Child (NSDSK) in Amsterdam.
Lizet received her PhD in June 2014. Her PhD project focused on the social-emotional development of young deaf children wearing a cochlear implant. In 2004, Lizet obtained her master’s degree in developmental psychology at Leiden University.
