Eeke van der Burg is interested in (non-linear) multivariate analysis, specifically in the analysis of several groups of variables. The relations between these groups can be described by various techniques, like canonical analysis and redundancy analysis. Her research is focused on the latter techniques. In addition, the emphasis of her work lays on categorical data, which occurs often in psychological research. She both works on the development of new techniques as on applications of these techniques in psychological as well as non-psychological research.
