My research focuses on longitudinal categorical data using the combination of generalized linear model theory and multidimensional scaling. Standard (multivariate) generalized linear models are prohibitive due to the large numer of parameters to be estimated and interpreted for such data. Multidimensional scaling techniques reduce this number. Additionally, they provide neat graphical displays for interpretation.
In 2006 my research was awarded by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO) with a VIDI-grant.
