Research Programme

The research of the unit is aimed at the development of models to explain and describe the influences in social systems. Social influences are studied in two ways: from the perspective of group dynamics and from an individual-cognitive perspective. Both themes can't be seen apart from eachother.

From these two perspective the research focuses at:

  • the relation between attitudes and behavior
  • stress problems and performance within organisations
  • distribution of scarce goods in groups and organisations
  • motivation, social cognition and perception in relation to group and organisation characteristics
