Charlotte Koot graduated in 2010 (cum laude) from the Research Master in Social Psychology at the VU University Amsterdam. She wrote her thesis on creating awareness of implicit prejudice, and conducted her research in the USA at New York University.

Currently, Charlotte is working as a PhD candidate at te Department of Social and Organisational Psychology at Leiden University under supervision of Dr. Naomi Ellemers and Dr. Emma ter Mors.

Research

Charlotte Koot studies the formation of attitudes about environmental technologies (CCS). She focuses on aspects of communication tht influence people's ability to form a complete attitude, or to achieve cognitive closure on the topic.
