Peter is active in various courses in the master curricula and supervises master thesis students on projects studying experimental psychopathology. His research focusses on interplays between stress & anxiety, threat-biased attention, and executive cognitive function. The methods he uses, include but are not restricted to, response time measures of working memory and attention, (spontaneous) EEG, measurement and psychopharmacological manipulation of stress systems (e.g. cortisol and nor-adrenaline) and psychophysiological measures of autonomic nervous system activity.
