Janice Sandjojo obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology (cum Laude) at Utrecht University , after which she completed the master’s programme Clinical Neuropsychology (cum laude) at Leiden University. From 2009-2011 she worked as a neuropsychologist at the Parnassia Bavo Groep with people with acquired brain injury and comorbid psychiatric problems. In 2011 she started in Leiden as a lecturer at the department of neuropsychology, where she still coordinates and teaches several courses of both the bachelor’s and master’s programme (Biopsychology and neuropsychology, Clinical neuropsychology, Adult and old age neuropsychology, Child neuropsychology) and supervises master theses and BAPDs. Outside of the University, she has worked as a neuropsychologist at the LUMC, assessing patients with autoimmune diseases for both diagnostic and scientific purposes. Further scientific and clinical experience includes the assessment of preterm born children (Erasmus MC-Sophia), children with learning difficulties (HCO) and adults with neurological diseases (Rijnlands Revalidatie Centrum). Currently, she also works on her PhD study, focusing on people with intellectual disabilities.
